| Description | describes data base links and data manipulation rules The Pick dictionary defines file layouts and data structures. Processing codes are stored in dictionaries to further describe data base links and data manipulation rules. These processing codes are used by various Pick System processors such as UP, Pick/BASIC and the list processor. Processing codes are stored in attribute-defining and file-defining items in file dictionaries. They are found in: output-conversion - attribute 7 correlative - attribute 8 input-conversion - attribute 14 Note: Processing codes were previously known as "conversions" and "correlatives" in R83 Pick. |
